This is a really fucking good. Doesn't feel like a witch story. Feels real, serious, not romantic at all. Love it πŸ”₯

Oh my goodness, bestie! Thank you! Yes, that magical realism, I think it’s called. New to me.

Get ready for part 3 >:]

Magical realism, never even heard of that. It’s great though β€” a lot of magic stories feel a bit silly/whimsical, but not this. Part 3 is saved and waiting! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Great detail and dialog. I could see them sitting at the table and feel the heartbreak.

Painful, gripping chapter, and still vivid. I really like how you handled the dialogue, the interiority, and what you choose to withhold but still hint at through body language and everything. I'm bummed to be late to the party, but so glad there are several more parts I get to read straightaway!

I'm so invested!!! The goose bumps are actually real. You've done such an amazing job at capturing a simmering rage. Also, it's amazing how delicate you're able to be while amping up the tension.

The balance between tension and deep emotion is so beautiful, especially with your somewhat direct style digging right for the bones. I’m going to be uneasy waiting for the next part.. awesome R!

So much of this story unfolds in what’s unsaid. That restraint, that trust in the reader’s heart to fill in the dark, takes real mastery.
