Magical realism, never even heard of that. Itβs great though β a lot of magic stories feel a bit silly/whimsical, but not this. Part 3 is saved and waiting! ππ»
Painful, gripping chapter, and still vivid. I really like how you handled the dialogue, the interiority, and what you choose to withhold but still hint at through body language and everything. I'm bummed to be late to the party, but so glad there are several more parts I get to read straightaway!
I'm so invested!!! The goose bumps are actually real. You've done such an amazing job at capturing a simmering rage. Also, it's amazing how delicate you're able to be while amping up the tension.
The balance between tension and deep emotion is so beautiful, especially with your somewhat direct style digging right for the bones. Iβm going to be uneasy waiting for the next part.. awesome R!
This is a really fucking good. Doesn't feel like a witch story. Feels real, serious, not romantic at all. Love it π₯
Oh my goodness, bestie! Thank you! Yes, that magical realism, I think itβs called. New to me.
Get ready for part 3 >:]

Yes, magic can be a little cringe sometimes. Thanks again :)
The stakes just shot up. And itβs personal.
Get ready!
Great detail and dialog. I could see them sitting at the table and feel the heartbreak.
Thank you! I try very hard to make dialogue believable.
I had tears in my eyes. I could feel the grief through your words.
Ugh! How many times I cried writing part two. I'm glad it came through π€

I love to withhold things! It'll all come together :)
The setting. The women. The magic. Everything screams ancient and powerful.
Ahhh thank you for reading π€π€

Thank you! I can't read this part without crying, honestly.
I'm enthralled. Late, but ready for what's next.
I appreciate the read! Just in time.
Magnificent π€ The rage of betrayal, the grief of loss, the quiet fear of uncertainty. Beautifully done my friend.
Thank you so much π€π€ it's been healing.

Ahhhh thank you!! I'm so glad that all comes through. I live for discomfort!
This is fantastic, and something close to my heart. Can't wait for the next part. Thank you π€
Thank you! This whole story has so much of myself in it down to the smallest details. I appreciate it.
So much of this story unfolds in whatβs unsaid. That restraint, that trust in the readerβs heart to fill in the dark, takes real mastery.
I'm taking this straight to my heart. Thank you.
I want to be in the room with these ladies. I'm invested.
I'm writing the heroes and community I always needed π€ thanks for reading
That's really beautiful.
Well now Iβm hooked. Justice must be done.
Hell yes!!
I just love the description of details around the house. Great dialogues, tooβI dig the Spanish bits.
Thank you! I struggle the most with those two types of writing so I appreciate it!
