Eyes of Opal is a collection of speculative fiction and folk horror short stories and serials set on and around Earth during a fictional time period involving the arrival of a mysterious celestial body. (Earth AD - Earth AKD)
This series explores ancestral magic, indigenous wisdom, colonization, relationships, trauma, and the darkness that tempts us all.
Begin with Brujas, set in 2001 AD, which is a short folk horror serial. Brujas is an introduction to an ancient indigenous magic held by the fictional “Eyes of Opal” people of Southern California.

Continue onto the Valence serial, set in 56 AKD, which details a speculative fiction mind-bending romp through a future Earth/outer space, after the arrival of the celestial body, Katharos, and the discovery of the powers held by the “Eyes of Opal” tribe.
